Hi, I’m Ben Hall, and I run Swift Computer Services, a local computer repair business based in Skipton, North Yorkshire.

With years of hands-on experience as an IT Technician, I’ve built up a strong foundation in the computing industry. I’m here to offer reliable, straightforward support for any technical issues you might be facing—whether it’s with your computer, laptop, or tablet.

I provide a range of services at affordable, competitive prices for residents in Skipton and the surrounding villages. If something’s not working quite right, I’ll take a look, diagnose the problem, and do my best to get it sorted quickly and efficiently.

    As a friendly local computer specialist, Swift Computer Services offers support visits to anyone across Skipton and the surrounding villages who may need help with their IT equipment.

    Internet Problems: Diagnose and resolve problems with local networks, ensuring seamless connectivity throughout your home.

    Printer Problems: Resolve printer setup issues, including poor wireless connectivity and potential system malfunctions, such as paper jams or stuck cartridge heads.

    Storage Problems: Troubleshooting potential issues with local disk storage and provide alternative backup solutions to free up computer storage.

    I also provide other support services to customers who may need help with setting up emails, access to social media, understanding the use of everyday computer tasks such as Microsoft Office packages and much, much more.

    I can provide IT repair and upgrade solutions to address and resolve a wide range of technology issues.

    Computer and Laptop Repair Service: Rectify issues by repairing IT equipment including laptops and desktop computers, replacing parts and components needed to extend the life of existing hardware.

    Printer Repair Service: Identify and replace printer parts needed to prolong the current printer’s life, therefore saving money from buying a new printer and ink cartridges.

    Phone & Tablet Service: A repair service is available for smartphones and tablets, undertaking screen repairs and replacement batteries needed to prolong the hardware’s life.

  • IT EQUIPMENT ADVICE

    Looking for straightforward advice on purchasing a new desktop computer, laptop, printer, or other accessories?

    I can help for just £10, Swift Computer Services can offer tailored equipment suggestions based on your individual requirements. This fee is waived if you opt for a support visit to assist with the setup of your new equipment.

REPAIR AND SUPPORT PRICES

Our pricing for all repairs and support services is at £15 per hour, in addition to the cost of any necessary parts. We accept payments via cash, bank transfer, or cheque. Detailed payment information will be included in your invoice.

Swift Computer Services is pleased to offer free callouts, collection, and drop-off services for your laptop or computer within a five-mile radius of Skipton. For locations beyond this five-mile radius, a transport charge of 50p per mile will apply.
